I started apprenticing in 2000 at Island Ink Tattoo under A great guy Joey and stayed there until about 2003. Then did some traveling in colorado before going up to Toronto to help Joey run his new shop. I loved Toronto but after the second winter I came to my sences and moved back to Maui ...lived here working mostly at Island Ink but after a couple more years got a little ancy and decided to work 1/2 the week at Hot Rod tattoo in Kehei and the other 1/2 in Wailuku at Evolved Art Tattoo. This was great beeing able to work with a whole new batch of artists. This lasted 6 months or so...then we decided to move the family to the east coast...Sperryville Virginia to be exact. Quite possibly one of the smallest towns in the world, and opened Spyder Rose Tattoo. Things are going good out here. A little slower than I'm used to, but a great oppertunity to get alot of painting done and still do some great tattoos and hang out with my family.
